Miette's Medical Journey
A determined kitten whose legs don't slow her down
Miette is paving the way for future kittens born with physical limitations. Despite uniquely misaligned legs, the spunky kitten has been working hard to maximize her mobility over the past few months in Orphan Kitten Club's nursery. Leg splints, physical therapy, and following doctor's orders have helped her walk in her own special way. Now that Miette's bones have grown, she's ready to take the next steps!
About Miette
Tiny Miette was rescued by Orphan Kitten Club at 5 weeks old, after being found abandoned.
With uniquely misaligned legs, it became clear that she is truly one of a kind. We are so proud of how far she has come, and despite her limb differences she is walking in her own way.
While working with a team of orthopedic specialists we’ve provided splinting, physical therapy and the best care possible to make sure Miette is set up with her most mobile future.
Now that she is approaching 5 months old and her body and bones are more developed, we’re working to make sure she continues to land on her paws!
